SOP for Oral Paper Presentation in Pedicon
Terms of Reference for Oral Paper Presentation:
- Authors of accepted Oral papers may be invited to present their findings during dedicated Oral paper sessions.
- Oral presentations and abstract acceptance notifications shall be sent to authors within the prescribed date.
- Accepted presenters are allocated specific time slots within oral presentation sessions, typically ranging from 6 minutes per presentation, and 2 minutes for questions and discussion. So a minimum of 6 presentations and a maximum of 8 presentations in one hour.
- Presenters are required to adhere to designated presentation formats, such as PowerPoint slides, to ensure consistency and professionalism in content delivery.
- Oral presentations shall include only Research findings done in the previous 2 years.
- Presenters should adhere to prescribed guidelines by the Oral Presentation Award Committee.
- The presenting author must register for the Pedicon conference.
- The presenting author shall be an IAP Member.
Oral paper presentation submission guidelines
- Notification for Oral Paper Presentation shall preferably be within May 31st. The last date for submission of the abstracts for the Oral Paper Presentation shall preferably be not later than September 30th.
- Authors can submit abstracts for oral presentation.
- The title of the Oral presentation paper should be brief but adequately descriptive.
- The body text of the research or award paper will be limited to 300 words. Word-processing software, such as Microsoft Word, is recommended for editing and counting the number of words. Extra spaces and symbols should be avoided as they are also included in the word count.
- The text of the abstract for Oral presentations should be structured to avoid any special characters, tables, references, or photos.
- Authors shall have to disclose any conflict of interest in their presentation at the Forum.
- A short CV of the presenting author shall be attached.
