1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and registering for PEDICON 2027, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, delegates, speakers, and exhibitors.

2. Registration and Eligibility

• Membership: Certain registration categories (e.g., IAP Member) require a valid membership number. Providing false information may lead to the cancellation of registration without a refund.
• PG Students: Postgraduate students must provide a bonafide certificate from their Head of Department to avail of discounted rates.
• Transferability: Registrations are generally non-transferable unless specifically authorized by the Organising Committee in writing.

3. Payment and Fees

• All payments must be made in INR (for National Delegates) or USD (for International Delegates) via the official payment gateway.
• Registration is only confirmed once the full payment is successfully processed.
• Any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transaction taxes are the responsibility of the delegate.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All delegates are strongly encouraged to review the specific cancellation policy mentioned on that page before completing their payment.

5. Scientific Content and Intellectual Property

• All presentations, abstracts, and research posters displayed at PEDICON 2027 are the intellectual property of the respective authors or the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).
• No Recording: Unauthorized photography, video recording, or live-streaming of scientific sessions and workshops is strictly prohibited.

6. Code of Conduct

Delegates are expected to maintain professional decorum. The Organising Committee reserves the right to remove any individual from the venue (without refund) who:

• Engages in disruptive or disrespectful behavior toward faculty or staff.
• Promotes commercial products in scientific halls without prior sponsorship approval.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The Organising Committee and IAP shall not be held liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
• In the event of Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics) leading to cancellation, the committee will decide on the refund amount after deducting committed expenses.

8. Changes to Program

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make last-minute changes to the program, speakers, or session timings due to unforeseen circumstances.

9. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
