Free Paper Guidelines

Part III – Specific Guidelines for Free Papers

Last date for submission: 30th September 2026

Free Paper submissions must satisfy the General Abstract Submission Guidelines in addition to the specific requirements below.

1. Scope of Research

  • Original research, clinical research, thesis work, audits.
  • Quality improvement (QI), medical education research, surveys.
  • Epidemiological studies, systematic reviews, meta-analysis & translational research.
  • Case reports are ordinarily NOT accepted in this category.

2. Abstract & Presentation

  • Abstract Word Limit: Maximum 300 words.
  • Presentation Mode: Accepted abstracts shall be presented orally.
  • Duration: Specific time allotment will be notified by the Scientific Committee.

3. Review & Selection Criteria

  • All submitted abstracts shall undergo a rigorous blinded peer review.
  • Selection Criteria: Based on Originality, Methodology, Scientific Merit, Relevance, and Presentation Quality.
Important Reminder for Free Papers
Free Paper presentations must focus on original research methodology. Case reports should be submitted under the E-Poster category instead.
